The Home Plan Marketplace is a full platform designed to help consumers build their dream home by providing them with not only predesigned home plans but by also connecting them with companies and professionals that will ensure a seamless building experience. We have developed technology that allows any qualified business to have their own marketplace of plans integrated seamlessly into their website allowing them to earn commission without a headache. Payment processing is included and we handle the logistics while they earn passive income.

Adding And Managing Admins

Each admin needs to sign up through www.homeplanmarketplace.com/signUp and then give you their ID. From there the ID can be added to a business through the manage businesses page. This can be found by clicking your name on the top right and clicking manage businesses => manage businesses. Their ID can be found by following the same path. All their permissions can be granted and removed in this section.

Business ID

Your Business ID can be anything you want it to be with no spaces or special characters. It is your ID that will identify your business as far as identifying when you make sales, managing orders & payouts, articles, and it works as your business page URL. It is important that the Business ID identifies your company. For example, Great House Design can use the Business ID’s GHD, GREATHOUSEDESIGN, GHDESIGN etc…

Every company that comes onboard we set up an initial consultation to learn more about their business and their business needs. We can then craft a plan that works best for everyone. This helps us ensure that your marketplace deployment is done correctly and ensures that we only bring in businesses that sell quality home designs and products.

Signing Up

Please go to www.homeplanmarketplace.com and the sign-up button can be found at the top right of the page. There you can sign up through your social accounts, including Gmail and Facebook, or create an account directly with us. Once signed up you can create and manage business accounts by clicking on your name and manage businesses.

How Does This Work?

We have created a collection of javascript plug-ins that fit seamlessly into your website. All payment processing, plan searches, and other functionality are done through your website with our redirects. You have your own ID that allows us to track all sales and activity, ensuring that you get paid for every sale. An email will be sent out to you as soon as a sale occurs. You will receive payments on the 15th of the following month on months that a sale is made.

How Much Work Is Involved?

After our infrastructure is deployed, there are no other tasks required. We will handle all the logistics and the Host will receive a monthly commission for all plans sold. If a customer contacts you with questions, the customer should be redirected to us.

Pricing (Free)

There are no installation fees or monthly dues associated with hosting. Advanced deployments may incur a cost if they are in depth. You help us sell plans, so there is no need to charge you.

We delegate 15% of every sale to you! There are no monthly fees or start up costs unless extra services are purchased.

Anyone that installs our application and infrastructure on their website to sell our products.

Plans are copyrighted, if someone tries to duplicate your plans, you have the right to sue. Earning money through selling plans online is a great way to earn passive income. You are protected but if you would like to find out more information please contact your local attorney.

Do I need a full set of plans?

Yes. The homes should be able to be built on a duplicate lot that they were designed for. This does include foundation and structural. If further modifications are necessary to make the plan suitable for a lot, it creates an opportunity for you to earn that modification business. Even if your plans are unique, many consumers would like to modify them or create a new design based on the layout and design which brings in custom design work, which can be sold again upon completion. Incomplete sets do not sit well with our consumers and we do not support them.

Getting Plans Ready For Sell

In order for a plan to be uploaded to our platform, we will need a color rendering or photo of the home, stripped floor plans, stripped elevations and an information sheet that highlights necessary details that aren't provided by the other material. We can create the full plan package for you, by simply sending us the DWG, PDF or scans of hand-drawn plans.

Liability

Plans are sold AS IS. It is up to the consumer and the builder to decide if the home is suitable for the lot. If it is not, it is their responsibility to make the corrections or contact for modifications. Liability does not fall on the designer but instead on those who are building the home.

Overhead

You can do as much or as little as you like. The old way of running the whole show by yourself is over. With our services, you can do as much or as little as you want. We can handle everything including modifications, printing, and shipping, creating plan packages, expanding visibility, social media, and more. Allowing you to earn mailbox money without the headache.

Pricing

You will receive 50% flat of each sale plus shipping. We cover credit card processing and other costs. With this pricing structure, there are no monthly dues and it allows us to delegate some of our percentage to third parties who help us expand visibility and sales by selling plans through their own website. We only get paid, if you get paid. We are here to help you succeed and look forward to a strong partnership.

We encourage you to sell on other reseller websites as well. Selling through one website or platform limits profitability and visibility. To get the most of your online business, ensure that you sell through as many websites as possible. We can help you get on more websites, handle legal, accounting and other tasks, allowing you to simple collect a paycheck and invoice.

Selling Plans Through your Website

Absolutely, in fact, it is encouraged. You can earn 15% commission (~$150 - $1000/sale) on every plan sold by another designer. If you sell your own plan on your own website, we only charge 5% plus credit card processing. Allowing you to earn upwards of 92% of each of your plans sold on your own website. There is no cost to get started and no monthly dues.

Uploading Plans

Images Aren't Uploading

We accept JPEG and PNG images. PDF's and other formats need to be converted before being suitable for our upload form.

Upload Form Is Missing Fields

Please call us at (512) 368-8858 or email us at info@homeplanmarketplace.com and we can update the form immediately, without you having to restart the upload. You can always save the plan which turns off all validation, so you can continue it later.
